FAQ | Does the GameSir X5 Lite Have Gyro Support?

Q: have you tried using inbuilt phone's gyro with this controller? and how was the experience?

A: I've been playing Call of Duty Mobile with my GameSir X5 Lite, and honestly? The gyroscope controls work surprisingly well - gameplay feels super responsive. But heads up: that smooth gyro action is all thanks to your phone's sensors, not the controller itself

Q: I actually wanted to ask if you have tried phones gyroscope on pc games through streaming (eg steam link or moonlight) etc. not on mobile games

A: Oh no i haven't tried this. would you like to tell me a game title? I kind of wanna try this way

Q: may be the finals, or far cry etc any game you like. try and test gyro and tell me if you succeed.

A: Just confirmed with GameSir support: the X5 Lite doesn't have motion-sensing capability or gyro support. So even when streaming The Finals to your phone, gyro aiming won't work with this controller.

Per GameSir's official specs, the Gamesir G8 Plus does have gyro support - but you'll need to enable Steam Input and switch to either NS or DS4 mode. Just make sure your firmware's on v2.8 or newer. Heads up though: the regular Gamesir G8 model doesn't have gyro at all.
