Share
Many gamers want to stream their PC games to play on their mobile phones. This guide will walk you through the setup process.
What You'll Need:
- Mobile Device: Download the Moonlight app.
- PC: If you have an NVIDIA GPU, ensure you have NVIDIA GeForce Experience installed and logged in (logging in is essential to access the SHIELD module later). If your PC does not have NVIDIA hardware, download Sunshine. This guide will focus on the NVIDIA setup.
Setup Steps:
- Connect both devices to the same local network. Ensure your phone and PC are on the same Wi-Fi network.
-
Pair your devices in Moonlight. On your phone, open Moonlight and select your PC from the list. Enter the PIN displayed on your phone into the prompt that appears on your PC. (Note: You may need to temporarily disable your PC's firewall if pairing fails initially).
-
Add games via GeForce Experience. On your PC, open NVIDIA GeForce Experience. Go to
Settings
>SHIELD
. Add the games you want to stream to your mobile device. These games will now sync and appear in your Moonlight app. -
Launch the game on your phone. Open the Moonlight app on your phone and select the game you added.
- Use your game controller. For the best experience, switch your game controller or gamepad into PC X-Input Mode. Once connected this way, you can use your controller to play the PC game streamed to your phone.
