Review | About Mode of Mobile Gamepad
We've collected a few questions about stretching gamepad for cellphone on reddit, and we've responded to some of them. One of the most common issues is that people tend to get the wrong mode on game controller for some games.
ios/android Mode
For mobile games that originally compatible with gamepad, we need to make sure that the joystick enters Android or ios mode. For the opposite one, we need to make sure the game controller is in some kind of mapping mode.
For example, Call of Duty Mobile, was originally adapted to gamepad. We can just make our game controller in android or ios mode when we start it, not into any mapping mode (such as shooting plus mode of the BSP-D11 or g-touch mode of Gamesir g8 plus), especially android users often get this wrong!
However, for some versions of the game on mainland China servers, none of the above rules may work, and it may be necessary to enter mapping mode for the game to work properly. This is a very special case
Please kindly note that so-called natively adapted games are generally downloaded from the apple store or google play, which are international server versions.
Streaming
If you want to stream computer games to your phone, you'll need to install Geforce Experience for NVDIA or Sunshine on your computer and Moonlight on your phone and pair both of them.
However, for different brands, we need to choose different modes for our gamepad. For example, x-input mode for BSP-D11, ios/android mode for Gamesir g8 plus

Regarding the use of Moonlight, after playing a game, please remember to click on the game you are streaming in Moonlight and click 'quit session' to exit the streaming status, the sound on your computer will be restored to normal, otherwise, the sound on your computer will still be emitted from your phone.
Games not originally compatible with gamepad
This type of game requires different responses to the difference between installing it on a computer and installing it on a mobile phone. But in general, since these games are not compatible with game controller, we need to install mapping software on the device.
Games installed in cellphone
We just need to install the corresponding mapping software on the phone according to the manual of the gamepad, such as Shooting Plus for BSP-D11, Gamesir app for Gamesir g8 and Gamesir g8 plus
After launching the mapping software, launch the game through it. Accessing the in-game training mode (if there is one) will make it easier to adjust the mapping keystrokes, save and apply it
Games installed in PC
We can install joyToKey on our computer for mapping, or we can use steam's mapping settings to do so.
We can even use these settings to help us play games like League of Legends, which doesn't support joystick play.
