FOREWORD
At first, we were attracted by a controller called Backbone One. Its advantages are extremely obvious, especially that it can support playing Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, PC games and mobile games on mobile phones. It can be seen that the manufacturer is committed to turning mobile phones into gaming consoles for everyone to play. At the same time, it is also expensive.
We spent a lot of time researching, including online news and offline markets. In the end, we found some similar stretching game controllers, and they all have high cost performance. We do not make any recommendations here. The purpose of this article is only to make some styles public in our company's testing situation, analyze the basic usage of these game controllers for everyone, and facilitate everyone to make a suitable choice for themselves
Test Game Cases
The main purpose is to test latency and know how to change a phone into a gaming console
APEX (steam, streaming)
We tried to use steam link as a streaming medium, but found a significant latency condition.
Therefore, we installed Moonlight as the streaming medium on our phone, and logged into the NVIDIA account and settings on our computer in order to make it connected with moonlight, and then we can complete the streaming from the computer to the phone.
NVIDIA's specific settings are as follows: click 'Settings', enter the 'Sheild' interface, turn on 'gamestream', and add APEX below to open it directly on Moonlight for playing.
After completing the streaming steps, we made sure that the BSP-D11 is in pc x-input bluetooth mode, then we played APEX
The BSP-D11 controller did not show any noticeable latency during the test.
League Of Legends Mobile (android, the game installed in the phone)
First, we downloaded Shootingplus on the phone.
We made sure the BSP-D11 is in android shootingplus mode, and connected the phone to the BSP-D11 by Bluetooth.
We launched shootingplus on the phone, started LOLM, pressed the small button on the top right corner of your BSP-D11, completed the mapping on the phone, saved the preset and applyed it.
The main interface of the game still required using the touch screen
As LOLM is installed on the phone, the BSP-D11 showed no significant perceptible latency during the test.
Some unique skills of very few characters require manual aiming and using the touch screen
Mysita's Izakaya
Playing Mysita's Izakaya on a cell phone into streaming by Steam Link shows no noticeable latency
However, the part of music beats of the game showed obvious latency and made us feel too difficult to play this part.
Mode and Description
Games installed on your phone
First download Shootingplus on your android phone (Shanwan for ios, refer to the Manual).
Ensure that the BSP-D11 is in android shootingplus mode (ios MFI mode for ios) and connect the phone to the BSP-D11 by Bluetooth.
Launch Shootingplus on your phone, start the game, press the small button in the upper right corner of your BSP-D11, complete the mapping on your phone, save the preset and apply it, then you can play the game.
Streaming computer games
It is recommended to install Moonlight as the streaming medium on your phone, and log in to your NVIDIA account and settings on your computer (if your configuration does not contain NVIDIA, you can install Sunshine on your computers) in order to connect it with moonlight, and then you can complete the streaming from your computer to your phone.
NVIDIA's specific settings are as follows: click 'Settings', enter 'Sheild' interface, turn on 'gamestream', add the game you want to play at the bottom, and then you can directly launch them on your phone's moonlight to play.
After completing the streaming steps, make sure the BSP-D11 is in pc x-input bluetooth mode, then you can play the game, of course, games that are natively adapted to controller on the computer can be played with the BSP-D11.
Streaming and mapping of PC games
If the game you want to play is not compatible with game controller, you can still install joyToKey and other softwares on your computer to complete the mapping, in order to play games such as League Of Legends.
