FAQ about Gamesir X5 Lite

Q: Would you be able to see if this works with Brawl Stars? I think Supercell said they won't support controllers so that gameplay is fair but I hate playing with touchscreen based movements (visual impairment, control quirks, etc).
A: I think it would be about if the game is natively supporting controllers. if not, and you're playing in android mode, you still can use mapping software of gamesir to play. using mapping will not cause unfair game unless you use macro seriously. another problem, mapping is not available for ios.

Q: Would you say this would be good for fps shooters? or are the thumbstick too small like the backbone? Was going to get the g8 but its a lil too big and bulky for me, but heard and seen how fps is no good on the backbone basically.
A: if you feel g8 too big, then gamesir x5 lite will be better for you. you can checkout a blog about breakdown between g8, g8 plus and x5 lite on PLAY AXIS ZONE. and I feel good with x5 lite for fps games like APEX LEGENEDS.

Q: Are you able to test if the usbC port works with headphones? Either usbC or with an adapter? Thanks!
A: without adapter

Q: Have you found a case that fits it? I'm having trouble finding one. I bought a backbone case but its too small.
A: sorry I just play at home only. Never need or try to find a carrying case for it

Q: I kinda want to return my g8 and buy this one instead just because I can fit my phone with its case on thanks to the adjustable rubbers near the port. Do you think thats a good idea? I mostly use for emulation.
A: My personal choice is the Gamesir G8 Plus (though I currently own both the G8 Plus and X5 Lite). If you like the heft and size of the G8, you probably won't dig the X5 Lite since it's lighter and more compact. While the X5 Lite lets you play while charging, neither it nor the G8 Plus has a headphone jack — so your game audio has to come through your phone's speakers. If your main issue with the G8 was its built-in USB port, the G8 Plus might be more your style (G8 PLUS is connected by bluetooth).

Q: Yea I wanted to love G8+ but it's got so many practicality problems for me. You can't charge it while you are using it, no headphone jack and the latency for the sticks are quite noticeable. I love the ability of just putting your phone in and getting to it with the G8. I'd always prefer a wired connection over Bluetooth if the device that I'm planning to use it with is able to fit. And for the G8, having the headphone jack and the pass through charging is so good but you can't change the size of the rubber bumpers on the sides so ai can't fit my phone with it's case. I know it's a simple fix of just either getting a new case or just taking it off each time but I don't really want to. I want my controller to be able to adapt to my usecase.
A: Yes, if the gamesir x5 lite also had a headphone jack it would be a perfect and lightweight version of the g8. honestly I kind of want to get a factory to design it and produce it lol

Q: its so cute but im so sad it doesnt have a fan </3 (my phone turns into a stove everytime i game)
A: there's a version with a fan. but not easy to find. our community is doing this

A: recognize it as controller, yes. but idk what do you mean controller lobbies

A: maybe that's kind of something like gamesir g8 or g8 plus

A: if you're using android you can download a GAMESIR app to do mapping. after you connect you smartphone with controller you can open a game through GAMESIR app. You can bind any key to any position on the touch screen. for more info you can checkout blogs in PLAY AXIS ZONE. Q: Hey man, got mine too! Would you know if it is normal that the Gamesir app always reverts the mode to Android or the blue light? It never stays on the Switch mode.
A: After carefully reviewing the manual multiple times, I noticed an issue: The GAMESIR app only works in G-TOUCH mode. When my x5 lite connects to the GAMESIR app on an Android phone, it shows a blue light. After holding the top two buttons for 2 seconds, the blue light turns red, and the phone displays "Allow GAMESIR app to access?" You must select "No" here, as choosing "Yes" will revert the x5 lite to G-TOUCH mode.
If this process still doesn't activate red light mode, you should contact store customer service about returns/exchanges. Communities like our PLAY AXIS ZONE follow a "1 year warranty" policy for such cases.
Q: Thanks man, I'm doing the same now where I don't allow it to open. The controller works without it anyway, just might need to open every now and then for adjustment, update if there is, and for Gtouch.

Q: G8 plus is HEAVY. How about this one?

Q: does it support Delta force?
A: not sure now. this is s special case. i heard that it will support this year
Q: even on G-touch mode?
A: Unfortunately, my friend has seen on the internet that some netizens have expressed that playing Delta Force with a controller has caused their game account to be banned. Recently, I heard that Tencent has stated that the game will support controllers in the future

Q: Hey OP, how lightweight is this controller? I have G8 Galileo and my hands hurt while laying down and playing
